General Guidelines

The SAGECrossroads website seeks to provide policymakers, journalists and curious consumers with the opportunity to explore the impact of science and technology on aging. Throughout the site, users are asked to provide their opinions and other feedback, and are encouraged to sign up to receive our electronic newsletter and other email from us. The information that users share with us is treated with respect and concern for privacy.

The SAGECrossroads SAGECasts are free, released on a regular basis, and coordinated by the staff of the Alliance for Aging Research. The goal of these SAGECasts is to examine cutting edge issues regarding science and policy as they relate to the field of aging research. We hope these interviews and debates will draw in an audience interested in the legislative, social, biological, and regulatory issues surrounding aging research. The supporting staff does their best to design events that are fair and balanced and acknowledge the existence of diverse opinions.

No Control or Endorsement of Event Content

The SAGECasts are taped or recorded live and therefore the content cannot be controlled. The events or interviews are not scripted and are conducted and archived for informational purposes only. They do not carry with them any explicit or implied endorsement of any of the views expressed.

Any information provided to SAGECrossroads will be used solely for the purpose of improving this service and tailoring it to the needs of its users.
